Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This person will be fully remote and on contract for 5 months. This person would be responsible for reviewing and processing vendor invoices, perform trend analyses, and ensure timely payments in compliance with corporate policies. They will interact with various departments and management, and support month-end close activities, including AP trend reviews, invoice pulls, expense accruals, and prepaid support. Additionally, they will assist the accounting team with other tasks as needed.

Skills and Requirements
Process and audit invoices, ensuring proper approvals and coding.
Handle weekly payments and remittances.
Maintain electronic records of invoices and related support.
Apply credits to vendor payments.
Resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
Reconcile monthly payable reports.
Submit new vendor packets for Oracle setup.
Assist with annual 1099 forms and inquiries.
Manage canceled payments, voided checks, and stop payments.
Support year-end audits and operational expense accruals.
Provide operational reporting metrics for A/P and vendor spend.
Review AP trend analysis for month-end close.
Ensure timely mailing of checks.
Adapt and be productive in a flexible environment. Experience/proficiency in financial software and ERP systems null
