CAD Tool Designer uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, modify, and analyze 3D models of tools and equipment, ensuring they meet design specifications and manufacturing requirements.

• Core Responsibilities:

  • 3D Modeling: Create detailed 3D models of tools and equipment using CAD software.
  • Design and Analysis: Analyze designs for functionality, manufacturability, and performance.
  • Technical Drawings: Generate technical drawings and documentation from 3D models.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine designs and address issues.
  • Software Proficiency: Maintain proficiency in CAD software and related tools.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design issues and manufacturing challenges.
  • Design Standards: Develop and maintain CAD design standards for the company.
  • Documentation: Generate documentation or manuals from 3D models.

• Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
