Job Description

This is an on site only position at our support center in Seminole, FL.

Requirements are at least 2 years in the dental industry, 1 year of dentrix experience, and at least 2 years of handling dental claims/billing.

As a Dental Billing coordinator, you will provide superior service to both internal and external customers while working in our Support Center in a non patient facing position. Dental Billing Coordinators support our office teams by handling all billing associated tasks. In addition, the Dental Billing Coordinators ensure the success of their assigned practice by balancing patient benefits with insurance payments all the while managing the account receivable. This is done by both insurance claims as well as patient billing and statements.

• Partners with the Office team to adequately file insurance claims.
• Entering data using dental practice software (Dentrix).
• Generating reports for all activities including insurance and patient aging.
• Posting payments made by patients and insurance companies.
• Following up on non-paid insurance claims.
• Managing late payments and overdue accounts.
• Run Statements
• Monitoring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to confirm payment from clients and insurance companies.
• Maintains safe, clean, and professional work area.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

• Education Level: High School or diploma or GED
• Job Related/Industry Experience: 1-3 years
• Dentrix knowledge
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel applications, and company operational systems
• Physical Requirements: Mostly walking, talking, standing, and updating information in computer systems
