Description:
The Dental Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle within all of our dental practices. This role involves managing the billing and collections process, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of claims, and enhancing overall financial performance while delivering excellent patient experience.
Requirements:•Oversee the entire revenue cycle, from patient registration to final payment collection, for the entire company.
•Overseeing and training all revenue management employees at all locations.
•Ensure accurate coding of procedures and diagnosis for insurance claims.
•Prepare and present regular financial reports to track revenue metrics and identify areas for improvement.
•Analyze data and develop strategies to improve collection rates and reduce the number of days in accounts receivable.
•Address patient inquiries related to billing and insurance, ensuring clear communication and resolving issues in a timely and prompt manner.
•Identify inefficiencies in the revenue cycle and implement best practices to enhance workflow and reduce costs.
•Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in billing and collections.
•Stay updated on changes in dental insurance policies and coding standards.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.
•Extensive knowledge in the dental field and or revenue management background.
•Strong knowledge of dental coding (ADA codes), billing software, and insurance processes.
•Proficiency in MS Office; experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix) is a plus.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Travel may be required for up to 20%.
