Pay: $16.85 - $37.50 per hour
Expected Hours: 10 – 20 per week

What You'll Do
- Implement customized training programs tailored to individual dogs and their owners’ goals.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of dogs’ behavior and training needs.
- Train 10-15 dogs for one hour each week and lead group classes once per week.
- Provide clients with progress updates and written detailed homework.
- Lead Lifetime Graduate Support group classes.
- Assist in community engagement and brand awareness efforts.

Excellent Communicator: Friendly, outgoing, and easy to communicate with, great interpersonal and teaching skills.
Adaptable & Eager to Learn: Open to learning and teaching, confident in handling various dog training needs.
Self-Starter: Takes initiative and thrives in a role with freedom and responsibility.
Reliable & Flexible: Available to work from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday - Saturday, and able to drive a cargo van for client visits.

Dog Trainer Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dog training experience.
- Customer Service: Ability to provide stellar customer service and professionalism.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Fitness: Can meet the physical demands of working with active dogs without issue.
- Own a Trained Dog: Your sociable, well-trained dog living with you is a plus.
- Positive Attitude: Outgoing, positive, and eager to learn and adapt.
- Training: Successful completion of a 20-day out-of-state hands-on training at The Dog Wizard Academy is mandatory. All online training must be successfully completed before hands-on training starts.
- Additional Skills: Experience in sales and customer communication is a plus. Bilingual is a plus.
