Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. The Draftsman should have strong proficiency in CAD software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software.
· Interpret concepts, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce accurate representations.
· Modify and update drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
· Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
· Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
· Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
· Conduct site visits to collect necessary data and measurements.
· Assist in developing 3D models and presentations when required.
· Troubleshoot design discrepancies and recommend viable solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
· Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Draftsman in construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
· Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools).
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
· Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Experience in 3D modeling and rendering software.
· Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
· Hands-on experience with site visits and field measurements.
