- Solo Drivers: Handle unassigned FedEx Ground runs from the Savannah area.
- Team Drivers: Operate OTR team runs with flights provided to other terminals as needed.
- Incentives: Safety bonuses and other performance-related rewards.
- No Touch Freight: Drop and hook only for maximum efficiency.
Benefits of Working with PDT Inc: - Solo Driver:
- Pay : 60-65 CPM, earning $1400-$2000 per week!
- Benefits : Health insurance with 50% employer-covered premium, 1 week of paid time off annually, and an end-of-year bonus based on performance and safety.
- Team Driver:
- Pay : 80-85 CPM to the truck, earning $1800-$2500 per week per driver!
- Benefits : Health, dental, and vision insurance with 50% employer-covered premium from day one, 1 week of paid time off annually, and an end-of-year safety and performance bonus.
Position Details: - Solo Drivers :
- Full-Time, unassigned, Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday (potential for dedicated route).
- Typical destinations: Atlanta GA, Orlando FL, Ocala FL, and Charlotte NC.
- Home Daily!
- No touch freight - drop and hook only.
- Drive new 2020-2024 Automatic Freightliner and Volvos.
- Team Drivers :
- Full-Time, unassigned, Tuesday - Saturday trips; 4 weeks on / 1 week off.
- Typical distance: Around 4,000 miles weekly.
- 34-hour resets may be taken at home when dispatched from Savannah.
- No touch freight - drop and hook only.
- Drive a new 2024 Volvo 860 sleeper truck.
Class A CDL Driver Requirements: - Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year/2 years of experience driving tractor-trailers
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience hooking up and hauling doubles trailers preferred/required.
- Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Must be willing to complete a Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and customer service.
