Orthopaedic Spine Deformity Surgeon – Stanford University
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board certified/eligible orthopaedic surgeon with a medical doctorate degree specializing in orthopaedic spine deformity to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Associate, or Professor rank on the University Medical Line (UML) or in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line.
Academic rank and line will be determined by qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. We expect the successful candidate to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients and produce scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest, as well as teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students. The successful applicant should be eligible for a California Medical License.
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor: $310,000-350,000
Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor: $310,000-350,000
Professor or Clinical Professor: $310,000-350,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
