Indiana University Health is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join their multidisciplinary team in downtown Indianapolis. The role involves performing complex and simple spine procedures, working collaboratively with various medical departments, and contributing to the development of a specialized Spine Program. IU's Orthopaedic group is the second largest in Indiana. It consists of 40+ physicians, 30+ advanced providers, and 150+ support staff.As Indiana’s leading health system dedicated to improving the health of Hoosiers, we provide reliable access to specialty care.

Position Details:

• Full-time
• Perform complex and simpleorthopaedic spine procedures
• 60% Inpatient / 40% Outpatient
• Work with the Department Chair and orthopaedic spine surgery colleagues to further build a spine section within the department
• Work collaboratively with Primary Care, PM&R, Neurosurgery and all other appropriate disciplines to build a Spine Program.
• Practice Locations:
  • IU Health Methodist Hospital, which is a Level I Trauma Center in downtown Indianapolis
  • Outreach at local IU Health suburban hospitals and clinicsas needed

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board Eligibleor Board Certified in the United States
• Orthopaedic Spine fellowship training required
• Open to new graduates and practicing physicians
