Position: **Technical Writer/Project Manager**

**Position Details:**

+ This position will be hybrid or Onsite in Newton, NC 28658.

+ The candidate needs to have expertise with Word and be fluent in PowerPoint, Excel, and able to do minor photography.

+ Looking for someone who has experience as a Technical Writer and working on manufacturing instructions is desirable, but not required.

+ This will be a Monday thru Friday role preferably in a hybrid or onsite model. It will include taking photos to include in documentation. Content will be provided by engineering and operations but the individual in this role will work to get all materials into the proper format so that it is most effective and useable for operators.

**Day to day:**

+ Manage a list of controlled documents to be updated or created.

+ Work with Lead trainers and Engineers to determine content of each document.

+ Create or update required documents by collating the information provided by the trainers and engineers.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Work with engineering staff and ops training staff to support creation of manufacturing instructions.

+ Provide documentation on new equipment and processes.

+ Manage list of documents that need creation or updates.

+ Take and edit photos of control panels and equipment for inclusion in written instructions.

**Desired education and years of experience:**

+ Two-year associate degree or equivalent.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.

+ Manufacturing experience preferred.

**Pay Transparency:**

+ This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is **$33.74/hour - $44.99/hour.**

+ Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
