To become an enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army, you must be: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien. In good physical condition. In good moral standing. A high school graduate or equivalent. Overview" As an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator, you'll be an intelligence specialist, integral to providing Army personnel with information about enemy forces and battle areas. You'll train and utilize specialized skills to conduct air reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting missions, and analyze aerial photographs. Requirements 10 Weeks of Basic Training. More than 23 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Requirements: Must be a US citizen or I-551 cardholder. Must be between the age of 17-34. High School diploma or equivalent. Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations. Must pass a drug screen. No felony. Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations. Score at least a 90 on the Clerical segment Compensation: Total compensation includes housing, medical, food, special pay, and vacation time.
